SendMoney

How SendMoney works

SendMoney is the X-native front end for UsePaid. You name a person in a post; we mint a coin on Pons (Robinhood Chain) whose fee wallet is the UsePaid treasury; UsePaid pays that person in dollars through X Money. Nothing here is a wallet, a custodian or an exchange.

1 · Overview

Three parties, three jobs:

  • SendMoney reads the post, mints the coin and writes the payee into its description. Nothing else.
  • Pons is the launchpad on Robinhood Chain: bonding curve, then a permanently locked Uniswap v4 pool. It pays creator fees to the coin's fee wallet.
  • UsePaid is that fee wallet. It claims the fees on chain and pays 80% to the payee's X Money, in dollars.

2 · The one-liner

Mention @SendMoneyHood, say who to pay, add a ticker and a name. Attach a picture to use it as the logo; otherwise the payee's avatar is used.

@SendMoneyHood pay @friend $MOON Moon Cat

Mints $MOON; every creator fee it ever earns is for @friend.

@SendMoneyHood launch $BDAY Birthday Cat for @friend

Same thing, said differently. Any clear phrasing works.

@SendMoneyHood pay me $MINE My Coin

No payee named and not a reply: you are the payee.

(reply under someone's post) @SendMoneyHood pay $THIS This Post

Replying to a post makes its author the payee.

Nameup to 32 characters
Payeean X handle; or the author of the post you reply to; or you

Reply timeabout 15–30 seconds; the reply carries the payment page link

3 · Who gets paid

The payee is resolved in this order:

  1. The handle you name in the post (pay @someone, for @someone).
  2. Otherwise, if your post is a reply, the author of the post you replied to.
  3. Otherwise, you.

The payee is written into the coin's on-chain description as Fees to @payee via UsePaid. UsePaid reads that line; it cannot be edited afterwards, so double-check the spelling before you post.

4 · How UsePaid pays

UsePaid is a fee bridge. A token points its creator fees at the UsePaid treasury, UsePaid claims them on a schedule and pays the named X account through X Money. The recipient needs no wallet and no signup; the money arrives as an X Money payment with a public reply from @UsePaid saying where it came from.

Fee route100% of creator fees to the UsePaid treasury, permanently. Partial or revocable routes are not registered.

Unclaimedif the payee has no X Money, the payment waits about 14 days, then expires

SendMoney never claims, converts or holds fees. What we can show is the on-chain fact that a coin's fee wallet is the UsePaid treasury, and a link to that coin's page on UsePaid where payouts are listed. Read UsePaid's own documentation for the ledger, the buyback and the treasury.

5 · Pons & Robinhood Chain

Coins are minted through the Pons v2 factory on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663, gas in ETH). Each coin starts on a bonding curve quoted in ETH and graduates into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 pool once 4.2 ETH is raised. Pons pays trading fees to the coin's fee wallet, a field set at creation.

That field is the seal. Pons lets only the current fee wallet hand itself on, so once a coin is minted with the UsePaid treasury as its fee wallet, neither SendMoney nor the person who posted can redirect it. There is no separate lock step and nothing to revoke.

6 · Eligibility

Payouts settle into X Money, which X currently offers to X Premium subscribers who are U.S. residents aged 18 or over. Anyone can be named as payee and the coin will mint, but a payee who cannot open X Money cannot claim, and under X Money's policy an unclaimed payment expires after about 14 days. Our reply says so every time.

A payee can stop payments by turning off incoming payments in X Money, or by asking UsePaid directly (@UsePaid or admin@usepaid.app). Nothing on SendMoney can start or stop a payout.

7 · Limits

Opening hourfor one hour after launch anyone can mint, one coin per account every 10 minutes
Afterwardsverified accounts (blue check) only, one coin per account every 2 hours
Cost to younothing; the house coin's creator tax covers the Pons launch fee and gas
Namesnot unique - many coins can share a ticker. The contract address is the identity
Stale postscommands older than 15 minutes when we see them are ignored

8 · Verify a coin

Trust the chain, not us.

  1. Open the coin on Blockscout. Its description is stored on chain and must contain Fees to @payee via UsePaid.
  2. Read getLaunchedToken(coin) on the Pons factory. creatorFeeRecipient must equal the UsePaid treasury above.
  3. Open the coin's page on UsePaid to see claims and payouts as they happen.

Every payment page on this site does steps 1 and 2 for you and links to step 3.

9 · FAQ

Who gets paid?

The X handle you name in the post; otherwise the author of the post you reply to; otherwise you. UsePaid pays that account 80% of every claimed creator fee in dollars through X Money.

Does the payee need a wallet?

No. Payouts settle into X Money. The payee needs an X Money account to claim; unclaimed payments expire after about 14 days.

Can the fee route be changed later?

No. The coin's fee wallet is the UsePaid treasury from creation, and the launchpad lets only the current fee wallet hand itself on.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The house coin's creator tax pays the Pons launch fee and the gas of every coin minted on command.

Who runs the payouts?

UsePaid. SendMoney only mints the coin and writes the payee into its description; it never claims, converts or holds fees.

10 · Disclaimers

SendMoney is independent of UsePaid, Pons, Robinhood and X. A coin minted through SendMoney is a memecoin on a bonding curve; it can go to zero and usually does. Nothing here is investment, tax or legal advice. Payouts are made by UsePaid under UsePaid's terms; SendMoney makes no promise about their timing or amount. Naming a payee does not make them a promoter of the coin.
